We are an institution of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) and operate microfinance institutions in over 12 countries throughout the developing world helping poor people from a variety of cultures to expand their incomes, improve their quality of life and become self-reliant. our IT department that is in charge of developing Microfinance Banking software, its implementation is currently looking for experienced Software Engineers/Senior
Software Engineers to work as part of our software development team to develop and enhance a Core Banking and Centralized Financial application.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
1. University Graduate in Computer Sciences/Software Engineering from a reputed Institution
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with J2EE and related frameworks. Prior experience with high volume transaction application and cross browser development is an advantage
3. Strong OOD & OOA skills in Java 6, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX
4. Excellent programming skills in HTTP, Servlet, JSP, JSF, JPA (Eclipselink or Hibernate), EJB , Spring Core, MVC and working knowledge of design patterns 5. Database skills in relational database including PL-SQL (Oracle, MySQL, DB2)
6. Working knowledge of JUnit and Eclipse
7. Good knowhow of any Application Server (Weblogic , Websphere, JBoss) and reporting tools such Crystal Reports and Business objects
8. Experience of agile development and good knowhow of accounting is desirable
